Celebrating 100 Schools
We recently took a little time out with the whole team celebrating 100 Schools. In fact, 2024 has been a year of celebration in many ways, what with our nomination and subsequent success in the 2024 ACE Awards. Then we had our recent nomination in the Education Today School & Supplier Awards 2024 (for which we really would appreciate your vote). Little wonder that reaching our goal to provide our Planned Maintenance/Compliance Service, to 100 schools to get a little overshadowed. But we’re delighted to announce that we have reached that goal and broken through the 100 Schools barrier, albeit that we’re a little late reporting the news (and it's well over 100 schools when we include our Reactive Maintenance and Radiation Protection Adviser services).
Our Aim
Our aim has always been to help and support School Business Managers and Headteachers in dealing with the ever-expanding and extraordinarily time-consuming regulatory burden placed upon them regarding maintaining school premises and we now manage 31 areas of compliance.
All we want to do is to help free up school staff time to allow them to focus, as much as possible, on the incredibly important job that schools fulfil. That of inspiring the next generation. That’s their area of expertise, which they’re far more able to focus on by allowing us to use ours.
Great Feedback
And we never cease to be delighted with – and very grateful for - the wonderful feedback we continue to receive from School clients. Whilst saving time ranks highly in the benefits they experience, efficiency and cost savings are also regularly highlighted, as well as the greatly improved customer service levels we provide.
Whilst these things are often very noticeable when moving from a previous provider, like the Local Authority schemes (and in case you were wondering, you’re not tied in to these schemes), in many ways, the impact is even greater when Schools have previously been managing property maintenance and the regulatory burden in-house.
Not Resting On Our Laurels
As I said, the feedback we receive is very gratifying but it also underscores that we continue to deliver highly valuable benefits and excellent customer service to our clients, which we continue to work to improve. Indeed, our ethos doesn’t allow us to rest on our laurels.
It’s taken us a while to reach 100 Schools but the pace at which new Schools join us to take advantage of the services we offer continues to accelerate and we’re already starting to re-focus our goals on growing that number to 200.
As you can see from the images on the page, we did allow ourselves a little celebration with a bottle of bubbly and some balloons and I’m very proud of what we’ve achieved in our work with schools. As Paul said:

I am so proud of what we have achieved as a Company but even more proud of the outstanding service David, Amie and the Schools Team continue to provide to all our schools."
Now, back to that new goal of ours to help and support 200 Schools …..
